MELISSA'S STORY: My name is Melissa Janssen, and I have been riding horses from a very young age. Over the years, I worked my way up to Grand Prix level. Due to my muscle disease, CIAP, I have been competing in para dressage for Team NL since 2019.
In addition to my sporting career, I run my own business, Dressage by Me, where I train young purchased and home-bred dressage horses for national and international sales. Currently, I am ranked 5th on the FEI World Ranking List in Grade IV, while also continuing to compete at regular Grand Prix level.
