Horse boots for training and competition
Horse boots protect the sensitive lower legs of your horse during training and competition. They prevent injuries caused by the legs knocking against each other, which happens often in young or unbalanced horses, and shield the tendons and joints from knocks against poles and other obstacles.
At Mrs. Ros you will find three types of leg protection, all available in the colours of our saddle pads and ear bonnets:
- Tendon boots for the front legs, with a hard outer shell and soft lining.
- Splint boots in neoprene and mesh for front and hind legs, ideal for everyday training.
- Bell boots that protect the heels and hooves from overreach injuries.
Comfort and fit
Well-fitting boots absorb shocks and stay in place without pinching. Our boots are anatomically shaped, close with double Velcro straps and are made from breathable materials so the legs do not overheat.
Cleaning your horse boots
Brush off dry dirt, rinse under running water and clean the inside thoroughly to remove sand. Most of our boots can be machine washed on a gentle cycle; check the product page for the exact instructions.
