Melissa Janssen

My name is Melissa Janssen, and I have been riding horses from a very young age. Over the years I worked my way up to Grand Prix level. Due to my muscle disease, CIAP, I have competed in para dressage for Team NL since 2019.

Alongside my sporting career, I run my own business, Dressage by Me, where I train purchased and home-bred young dressage horses for national and international sales. I am currently ranked fifth in the FEI world ranking for Grade IV, while continuing to compete at regular Grand Prix level.
