I was infected with horse fever from an early age and started riding ponies as a little girl. With the ponies I competed in both dressage and jumping. At 13 I made the transition to horses. We had several home-bred horses, as my father is a passionate breeder.
I trained these horses from the very beginning up to 1.50 m level. Highlights include winning the 1.40 m Grand Prix of Offichem, placing third in the 1.45 m Grand Prix of Marienheem, placing fourth in the 1.45 m Grand Prix of Hellendoorn, and winning the Masters of Blaricum.
For me, the most beautiful part is the journey with young horses: starting with a completely green horse and watching it grow to the highest level. It is extra special when you have shaped a horse yourself and can achieve top performances together. My focus is on training young, talented show jumpers while continuing to compete at a high level.
