After her second place on her debut in Stadl-Paura, Diana Porsche achieved another top result with fourth place in the top-flight tournament in Ornago, Italy.
The Salzburg-based dressage rider Diana Porsche achieved another respectable success in her first year in the general class.
In the Grand Prix competition held in Ornago (ITA), the 26-year old with over 69 percentage points just barely missed the highly decorated podium, which included the Swiss Olympian Estelle Wettstein. Porsche and horse "Douglas" finished in excellent fourth place out of 21 participants.
"The three riders who made it onto the podium are very experienced, so I'm very pleased that I was able to place so well in my first year in the general class in a very strong field," says Diana Porsche after fourth place in the Grand Prix.
With "Lady Gaga", Porsche promptly won the preparation of the six-year-old horses with a score of 84 percentage points, with "Kentucky" she took fourth place among the seven-year-olds (74%).
Both horses competed internationally for the first time. At the end of another successful weekend, Porsche achieved second place with “Lady Gaga” in the final for six-year-olds with 81.7 percentage points, “Kentucky” also came out fourth in the final of the seven-year-olds (73.7%).
"Especially Lady Gaga's victory on Saturday makes me very confident for the future. This weekend I was allowed to present young horses internationally for the first time. It is therefore very good to see that the direction we have taken is the right one and that I can follow the path to major sport with them.
